Message from the Chairman

We are truly living in very exciting times!

In January, we opened the year with the ON FIRE Conference at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila, where the Lord ignited our hearts and hands to be on fire for evangelization. During the offering of the First Fruits at eh first MC Gathering at the Ateneo De Manila University, our hearts burned with gratitude for God's unending goodness. And at the Magnificat Weekend in Baguio, our souls rejoiced in PROCLAIMING THE GREATNESS of the Lord as we learned and committed to imitate our Mother Mary, the first disciple.

In Couples for Christ, we are not just members or leaders. We are missionary disciples of Christ. As lay faithful, we are called to have a strong sense of urgency, to be bold and to be one in proclaiming the Good News. Together with the clergy, we are urged towards new evangelization -- in our families, in our community, in the workplace, even in cyberspace.

That is why we should always be vigilant, constantly on the lookout for opportunities to PROCLAIM THE GREATNESS OF THE LORD wherever we may be. May our hearts and hands burn with zeal as we make God's mission our mission, today and till the end of our days!

And so on July 13 to 15, 2012, let us all be ON FIRE during the 2012 Western Conference! Let us not delay, for the call of evangelization is urgent! Let us not allow anything to hinder us from receiving the fire that will burn our hearts and hands! Ans as one CFC, let us inspire one another to be like Mary, our Mother.

Message from the USA Country Coordinator

With Overflowing Passion!

The Lord in His goodness and mercy has always been faithful to us. He has truly blessed us in so many ways. We all experienced the mighty hand of God in our daily lives. He so deeply touched us. We were transformed. We were recreated. We were empowered. We were filled…

And what better way to express how grateful we are to our God than to be His witnesses to all the world. Thus, CFC’s response, our theme for the year “Proclaim the Greatness of the Lord!”

Our Mother Mary’s “YES” started it all. She fully yielded to God’s calling, fulfilled His will and embraced everything that “YES” entailed.

Brothers and sisters, we are privileged to be called to the noble task of being Christ’s ambassadors to all nations. Let us all boldly conquer the world by “Proclaiming the Greatness of the Lord with Overflowing Passion”. Let us allow ourselves to be God’s vessels of hope and love to His people. Let us give our resounding “YES” to God.

Come and be more filled, be more empowered, and be more blessed.

See you all at our Magnificat Weekend and together let us set the world ON-FIRE….
